Back in 2000 during my school summer holidays, I went on vacation with the monks/saints whom my family and I knew very well. We visited Uttaranchal (UP, India) for a religious congregation. One morning we visited the mountains where I felt calm, joy and bliss. I felt I was sitting somewhere far away from Earth and my anxiety and worries flew away as darkness disappears in the sun's shine. I don't know how long I sat there.
Suddenly one of my family members presses my shoulder and made me conscious of the present.
The saint/sage near me was smiling and looking at me. He then said to me “Son, don’t forget to give. Life is to give and you will always feel the joy and love.” Then he handed me a small pot of Brahmi plant and said "This a gift for you by nature. Look after it. This is a plant of wisdom. Always attach yourself to nature. Without the relation of nature, we are like a child with no mother."
